We left home this morning at 8:00 am. 35,075 miles on the odometer. Our destination was the Huguenot Memorial Park near Jacksonville via Singletons Seafood Shack in Mayport. We got there just after noon and had a nice lunch. Took the Mayport Ferry across the St. Johns River. When we arrived at Huguenot Park, it was closed!!! for the next two days while they repaved the roads. What a disappointment. This is one of our favorite FL campgrounds. We continued on a few miles to the Little Talbot Island State Park campground. We stayed here last year. It's OK but nothing real special.
At any rate, it beats sitting at home looking at the pond. We would much rather be here then there.
